My favorite scene, as terrible as this sounds, is the scene when Alice kills herself. Not because I didn't like the character, but because it was the turning point when Magua loses the control and power he thought he had.

Alice strips Magua of his only goal, killing her and her sister by taking her own life. Her death was no longer able to be caused by Magua's hand. He underestimated the strength of what he was up againt. It had not occured to him that there was the possibility someone else would be capable of taking away his victories as a warrior. I like this scene so much just because Alice did just that.

I like the period of time when they're just exchanging gazes. It's almost like Alice is saying to him that he will be defeated, and there's nothing he can do about it. It made me see Alice as a very strong person- even though she kills herself and doesn't tough out the rest of the journey. I feel this was more an act of bravery then anything else.
